Things, no matter how bad they get, can always be put into perspective. I had a trainwreck of a day, between a long, long, slightly sick day at school, worrying probably too much about a personal pseudo-crisis, blowing out a speaker in my car, and getting this really not-cute-looking injury in ju-jitsu. So I come home and find out that the husband of one of my mom's people broke all but one of his ribs.

So this leaves me with two choices tomorrow:
-Go to school, miss class to go see a play with the senior class, come home and have so much work to do that I can't see any of my friends or tend to my little crisis.
-Stay home, sleep in, have a good breakfast, work at my own pace, and not be allowed to go out, but stay in and talk to said friends.

My mind's been made up. Perhaps I'll get the chance to fix my problemos with people if the gods smile upon me. So I'm spending tomorrow alone and going to watch a tournament this weekend, where I'll see many of my very favorite Austinites.

Maybe all of this will give me a little perspective.
