Gaming

I haven't had much time here for playing. I did manage to get the Call of Duty demo, which if you haven't played it you must before reading any further. Go find it, play, and be enlightened to one of the top games of this year.

The only thing that's really played here (in the dorms) is Halo. Lots of Xboxes are all over my dorm, and people jack into the ethernet connection and play on system link, which works like magic. Right as I was writing this, I got invited to play some tonight, and I'm psyched since it'll be maybe my third time to play since arriving. Even without using a profile, I'm probably the second best player here. And that's sad, as the Arlington Halo crowd knows how ridiculously average I am. There's one guy about as good as the Lamar sophomores who's a real expert at killing (though he could care less about those flag things) who they all call The Professional. I have yet to play him, so I don't know how good he actually is - but in my games so far I've cleaned up too.

Now if only Counter-Strike would work - I could use some real stress relief.
