Today's been a fine day. I felt kinda grown up, because I went from my uber-hard law class (where I gave a presentation and received a list of potential huge paper topics) straight to dinner at Sullivan's, a nice steakhouse kind of place to celebrate Thomas's birthday. It's the kind of place where the menu's on one sheet, the waiters are mean and the lights are low, and it's goooood. It was kind of like a peek at the places where professionals go after hours, and I spent the two hours there just defusing from the high-tension environment that is the law class. That, and as it turns out the huge paper is gonna be half as long as was promised. So I spent a lot of time getting worked up over something that's gonna virtually be *easy*. Yep, definitely sounds like a sneak peek at the future. =PThat, and Texas got ranked #1 today by the BCS computers. It's a minor detail for blog posting, I'm sure, but since we're on the theme of the future, it's totally fitting.
