Here I sit on a Friday afternoon, having not been to class all day, sippin' a Bawls (my first since last year's Quakecon) and contemplating tonight's party downtown. I've spent most of the week with the Japanese Association, who have quickly become my circle of good friends in the absense of my WoW-addicted roommates. And really, I'm OK with that - the dudes are cool, the girls are hot, the parties are fun and there's a real feeling of belonging for everyone involved. The last 48 hours have been an insane run of exhibitions, event management, drama, and dancing, and every second of it has been worth it. Tonight we're wrapping up our week of celebration by taking over a club downtown - schoolgirls get in free all night! If you're in Austin and you want to hit it up, call me.
