Just in case you guys didn't know, a gay marriage ban is up for vote in Texas. Here's the language we'll be voting on:
“The constitutional amendment providing that marriage in this state consists only of the union of one man and one woman and prohibiting this state or a political subdivision of this state from creating or recognizing any legal status identical or similar to marriage.”So, is it just me, or can that last half be construed as banning marriage altogether? Well done, Texas, by not even grammarchecking your Bestest Red State Moment Evar you've made me proud enough of this travesty of a state to start supporting a guy named Kinky.
