This weekend rules

I'm doing nothing. Seriously, next to nothing. I'm totally unproductive, chillin at home, and it's great because my blood pressure has gone down by a zillion points. I had forgotten what it's like to read for pleasure, and man, it makes me happy. That's one of the things I look forward to when I'm out of college, I'll get to read what I want once more and I'll start feeling smart again.

Picture recommendations please

OK, so the pictures page I have has gotta go. It's too much maintenance and Firefox users can't even see it. I'm looking into alternatives but so far I'm not seeing a whole lot for putting online entire albums.

Hint: Google, go make an online component of Picasa that stores whole albums.

For the time being, it's looking like the usual online photo-storage sites for me, as lame as they are. Flickr, Yahoo Photos, that kinda stuff. Anyone have any advice?

Quakecon registration Friday at 8

www.quakecon.org - get there now, registration snuck up on us. It's tomorrow night, April 15th, at 8:00 CST. Don't forget to register before you go out.

Save yourself some time and go to the site and complete your quakecon.org user profile before registration opens. If you went last year, the information should have carried over.

Update Friday 9pm: If you're having problems reaching the site, go to www3.quakecon.org. Comment with results!

I might get back into gaming

Check out the Quakecon tourney list for this year:

DOOM 3 1v1: Two people, one map, one rocket launcher. A fight to the finish in the bowels of Hell.
Enemy Territory 6v6: ET returns to Quakecon once again. Grab your Panzerfaust and cap that flag!
Ms QuakeCon Quake 3 1v1: Just for the ladies, Ms. QuakeCon is now a part of the official tourney schedule. Prepare yourself for a group of girls that you'd never want to meet in the back alleys of q3dm7 without the red armor.
Quake 2 1v1: A blast from the past! For the 10th QuakeCon, get ready for a retro shootout in the classic Quake 2 world.

This looks *awesome.* I'm going to watch D3, ET and Q2 like crazy, and I just reinstalled ET in the hopes that I can join a team to play hardcore. Anyone up for some Q2 action in the weeks leading up to Qcon?

Update: I just remembered that not being at home for 7 weeks in the leadup to the tourney won't go over so well with a pro team. Le sigh. :(

A-town run pending

Next weekend (April 15-17). It might be a one-night run, I'm just playing it by ear. I have to go home and get my passport in order to renew it. If anyone wants in on the run, you have to (a) give me a shout and (b) be flexible as to how long we spend there.
