This MSNBC report is written by a woman who went undercover as a college freshman and rushed into an undisclosed sorority at an undisclosed school. The new book is called Pledged and it's the woman's expose of her experience. Basically, she finds the stereotypes true, the girls ignorant, and while she doesn't go into specifics in the interview, she makes it clear that some pretty bad shit's happened. I'm really interested in reading this book to see what all this chica saw.
I've spent a bit of time with my brother lately, between staying at his house in Oklahoma, going to family events (funerals) with him, and playing Tiger Woods Golf at his apartment here in Austin. It's awesome.
In Oklahoma, since we were dressed up for the funeral (in matching black suits, mind you), we were able to climb out of my black car with dark sunglasses and black suits on. It gave my family a few laughs since they all called us MiBs - and it's always good when you can make a room full of sad people laugh.
We look almost nothing alike, yet we act like twins sometimes. This whole having a brother thing is just plain cool as hell, and if I were to keep writing any further I'd really just sound stupid and make no sense.
Instead, I will say this: Lil' Jon is set to appear on Chappelle's Show and there's going to be a WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWHAT?! battle.
The Cowboy Bebop soundtracks totally, completely, own my soul.
A buncha people have been added to the Friends list. I'm missing a couple still, which will probably be added in quietly, but that's the bulk of my links list right there. Thanks for all your love and support, amigos.
