Use the text box to give the chicken commands. I recommend trying "sit," "jump," and "build a fort."
My links list is shorter than everyone's. I've always tried to make sure that I was linking to just blogs that are current with persistently good material, but I feel like I'm leaving out some people who I consider friends who deserve the linkage. Time for an overhaul. I'll be sending out IMs / checking profiles in the near future to compile a new list, so I'll massively appreciate those who link their blogs from their profiles. And for people who persistently move about between systems *cough*alex*cough*leslie*cough*, please settle down and choose one already.
Thanks.
And don't forget: Quakecon registration Wednesday night. Quakecon.org for details and opening times. I expect it to go smoothly and open on time this year, as last year was the first time they ever got it right.
I just now discovered the setting on my S200 to get sharper pictures (turning off compression). Takes up more space, but my 128MB CF can still hold like 128 pics (more than enough for one read). And holy shit, what a difference it makes.
Don't let the goofy Angelfire graphics on the first page fool you. This story is amazing. A curious woman, armed with a camera, Geiger counter, and motorcycle gets past all of the Russian checkpoints and uncovers the aftermath of the Chernobyl meltdown in 1986. It's amazing how much we know and don't know at the same time. Oh, and there's some great photography in there as well. Highly recommended for the camera freaks (ale/aroon), anyone who wants to see what a Russian chick looks like (the rest of you), or anyone who's curious about the whole incident (....me).
This movie not only gives a lot of people a lot of hope, but it puts Clint and myself to shame.
