there are quite a few big tests coming up. anyway, this is to inform you all that i will be available to help prep people for the ridiculous price of $0.

all reviews are on sundays starting between 12:00 and 1:00. if you have a conflict because you are deeply religious, then that's not my problem.
april 14th - invite-only AP review. this is for us smart guys to get our act together so we can spend the other weekends helping the rest of you.
april 21st - public AP review. anyone's welcome here. people should be on hand to review the following:

  • us history

  • world history (a very wee bit, as it's mostly a combination of european
    and american)

  • calculus AB

  • english language (a wee bit)

april 28th - SAT I prep session for may 4th test. will take timed practice tests and score them; someone will have a prep book.
may 5th - public AP last-minute cram session. see subjects above, and possibly throw in biology and computer science, depending on the presence of syed/philip. this is the sunday before ap week begins.
may 26 - SAT II prep session for june 1st test. subjects:

  • writing

  • physics

  • math 2

bug me if you want in; lamarites are welcome (see aroon's site for info). there will be food runs before and after if people are interested. we plan to start each session between 12:00 and 1:00.

You are Kermit!
Though you're technically the star, you're pretty mellow and don't mind letting others share the spotlight. You are also something of a dreamer.

omg, the best quiz evar. take it when? NOW@!

in other news, much love to apex games. go there if you need to buy/rent/sell games or rent a good dvd for the evening. mucho inexpensive, positively elite for a console store, and the people who work the place are just plain swank. i myself just added to my ps2 collection thanks to them. yes, i buy games when they're not terribly expensive. if they sold music i'd probably buy that too. for those involved in the shindig on two weeks from friday at alex's (if you don't know, you're not invited): i'll be renting virtua fighter 4 for us to partake. and yes, there will be pikmin playing, provided pablo didn't delete my savegame. heh.

ja wohl!

life continues to improve. i have a new cell phone (much love to whitney for hooking this brother up). houston was, in a word, 'ehhhhhh.' but after seeing this year's 8th graders, i don't think senior year will be so bad.

*hugs his quite small fone*

now if only that small hat-wearing asian girl would free up her damn line so i'd have somebody to be roll up and down the halls (i'm quite fat at the moment, you see) with and be happy.

i'm off to houston. whoop-dee-friggin-doo.

fortunately, i finished my story just in time to be turned in for calliope deadline tomorrow. expect your very own copy of 'the blonde' this may. a teaser, if you will:

Wiping off the tears and smeared eye shadow, the blonde walked home alone that day. Leaves showered down on her, and her face, still red from crying, blended in among the autumn trees, all in the kind of scenery one can only find in the movies. A school bus passed by. She didnt even look up when the junior high boys called at her from the bus as it sped off into the distance. She stopped for a moment and tried her best to look at herself from the outside in. The blonde couldnt understand why the junior high boys would even do such a thing because she was so disgustingly overweight. She couldnt understand why she was still crying.
It was all because she became fat.

and no, this story is not about a girl being literally fat. all will be revealed in seven short weeks.

anyhoo, i shall see you all later this weekend.
